Having grown up on Long Island, my favorite gigs are ones that place me near the beach! 
Doesn’t matter that it’s January in Pensacola, the bright, snow-white sands warm my heart and make me long for summer. It was a 60 degree day here today, and after a long walk in the sand, I took these pictures of Pensacola beach in all it’s wintry glory…
Last night some colleagues and I went to “Fish House” and once I stepped out of my car and inhaled the fresh-fish smell on the bay breeze, I knew it was going to be a great dinner. If you like aquariums, you’ll LOVE the 2 enormous fish tanks in the Fish House dining room, to say nothing of the gouda cheese grits and delicious blackened shrimp!
